The Camino Real was used by the Inca and his court to get to the sacred city of Machu Picchu which no doubt a symbol of the Inca civilization. Early in the morning our guide will meet you at hotel for transfer to the start of Inca Trail, at the place called Chilca to about 88 Kms from the city of Cusco, where you will find staff who accompanied during the trip. From here we will walk a little difficult to reach the area called Tres Piedras or Punku Corral where we will make the first camp.
After breakfast a walk to the highest point of the Inca Trail is the most difficult stage of journey, Warmiwañusca with 4200 masl, where passing observe different microclimates of Yuncachimpa rainforest. Also here we get a unique panoramic view, after going through this step we are preparing to rest after lunch walk to the fresh start Paqaymayu sector where our second camp.
Breakfast. Then begin the climb to the Runkurakay archaeological site (3900 m) the second most important step of the journey, we continue to Phuyo Patamarka, where we stop for a delicious lunch. Then we will go to Huayna Wiñay for a guided tour of this archaeological complex. Here we make the third camp, dinner.
We begin the walk after breakfast to the sector Punku Inti (Sun Gate), which is both the entrance to Machu Picchu, to enjoy the panoramic view most famous and impressive archaeological ruins, here we will have a guided tour to through native forest ending in the cloud forest where you can admire a great variety of orchids and bromeliads. Then we will have a decrease in car to train station to head towards the city of Cusco and transfer to Hotel.
