Information of Subida Alta beach

Subida Alta beach is located about an hour and a half of Guayaquil, off the formation of Taica del Estero Salado and the Rio Guayas. This beach is essentially a natural attraction that invite visitors to practice different water sports in its warm waters and gentle.

The beach is wide, with a width varying between 40 and 60 m. The sand is gray, its slope and moderate waves and warm water, crystal blue. High Rise Beach has a dry tropical climate, influenced by the Humboldt Current.

An ideal place for those who enjoy surfing, swimming in open water, soccer and volleyball, because here we combine the attractiveness of their waters, beautiful scenery and abundance of flora and fauna.

Among the most significant wildlife is a large variety of birds such as: gulls, herons, pelicans, albatrosses, mockingbirds, etc.. There are times when the High Rise coast become a perfect place to stay for a variety of species including: sea lions, blue footed boobies, including a large variety of whales.

You can also see some birds native to the area: mockingbirds, Ani, dove cutworms, savanna, hawks, Huerequeque, gulls, pelicans, herons, albatross and the hummingbird endemic to the area.

In Subida Alta beach also be done riding and boat rides for bird watching in the mangroves and bottlenose dolphins, locally called dolphins, living in the vicinity of the island of Puna.
