The Galapagos Islands are undoubtedly one of the largest scientific and tourist attractions in Ecuador. The biodiversity of these islands was that astonished scientists like Darwin, who was inspired by the Galapagos to develop the theory of evolution. The Islands offer a variety of activities, surrounded by natural scenery ever seen, with unique flora and fauna, and the opportunity to go diving and snorkeling amazing and varied marine life.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Quito / Guayaquil - Santa Cruz Island

Crossing by ferry to the island Santa Cruz (10 min.). Arrival at Santa Cruz Island Check in at the hotel. Start of tour of beaches and bays, "The Loberia" - snorkeling with sea lions. Visit Estrada point where you can also snorkeling. Navigation 40 minutes to "Turtle Bay", to enter the white sand beach we have the opportunity to observe the different marine species such as manta rays and reef sharks own babies mangrove ecosystem. After swimming in the sea, we make a short walk to the site of nests of marine iguanas. Box Lunch on the beach. Return to the lodge.

In the afternoon cocktail of welcome. Briefing and dinner.

Day 2

Santa Cruz Island - Floreana Island

Breakfast and departure at 8.30 am by bus to the highlands of Santa Cruz to see "The Twins" (huge collapsed lava caves), geological explanation. Walk into the forest Scalesia. Opportunity to see the bird Brujo. Small and large woodpecker finch. Then visit a reserve of giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Lunch at the hotel.

In the evening around 15h00 to Floreana Island. Arrival around 17h00.Check In the Red Mangrove Floreana Lodge. Brifieng and Dinner

Day 3

Floreana Island - Isabela Island

After breakfast, start a tour to the top of the agricultural area. The Sanctuary of Peace is a site that tells visitors about the human story of "The Enchanted Islands." Floreana was the first island to be colonized by humans. This is the only opportunity to watch the woodpecker finch. At 11h00 departure to Isabela. Arrive around noon. Check-in Red Mangrove Isabela Lodge. Lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon we took a boat ride to "The Dyers' (white tip reef sharks resting-place), a channel where they spend the night at the bottom of the cracks. The channel is between a small natural outcropping of lava, one of the wonders of nature that contrasts with a background of emerald green water, white sand beaches, mangrove forests and green mountain formations of the island. A walk will take us to see one of the few colonies of marine iguanas in the village that have not been disturbed with other species. Opportunity to see the penguin colony is being established recently in Puerto Villamil. Usually resting place next to the blue-footed boobies.

Day 4

Top of the Isabela Island

After breakfast, we took a transport to the top of Isabela Island where we will mount a horse for a walk and then walk to "Sierra Negra Vulcano, one of the active volcanoes in the Galapagos Islands. Lunch will be at the crater of the volcano, the largest caldera of the islands with a diameter of 9-10 km Sierra Negra offers the opportunity to see spectacular volcanic geology as well as the typical vegetation of an arid climate. We visit the "Volcan Chico", northwest of the caldera is an area of fumaroles and "Sulphur Mine." Return around 4:00 PM. Afternoon relax on the beautiful white sand beach of Puerto Villamil or in the hotel restaurant.

Day 5

Isabela Island - Santa Cruz Island

After breakfast, Departure to visit the "Wall of Tears", Cerro Orchilla, Wetland Interpretation Centre and small lava tunnels. Departure to Isla Santa Cruz.

In the afternoon visit to Charles Darwin Research Station. Briefing and dinner.

Day 6

Santa Cruz Island - Guayaquil / Quito

After breakfast, transfer out to Baltra airport, so you can take a trip to their place of origin or to visit Ecuador.

Check-out depends on your flight.
