Day 1

Guayaquil - Ecuador

Arrival from your city to the airport in the city of Guayaquil. On arrival we will make a short trip up to the Hotel Hilton Colon.

Day 2

Guayaquil / Galapagos / Santa Cruz Island / Embark

In the morning fly to Baltra Island in the Galapagos. The flight time is approximately 1 ½ hours, and immediately board the ship. During lunch we travel around the island Santa Cruz to bring us into the magnificent wildlife. Spend the afternoon exploring channels surrounded by mangroves and the coast of Cerro Dragon, looking for land iguanas, sea lions, a variety of birds and rays.

Day 3-8

Exploring the Galapagos Islands

While the exact route depends on the Galapagos National Park Service, you can visit the following islands: Santa Cruz, Spanish, Floreana, Fernandina, Isabela, Bartolomé and Santiago. Here is a brief description of what each island offers.

Bartolome: It has an enchanting landscape where lava, mangroves and white sand converge. Beautiful walks, spectacular views and the opportunity for snorkeling (scuba snorkel) with penguins.

Santiago: Santiago Island gives you a chance to see the Galapagos sea lion, with the opportunity to enjoy the best waves break.

Santa Cruz: The epicenter of Galápagos administration as well as the Charles Darwin Research Center where you will learn about their vital preservation work. Go to the highlands to roam the lush landscape covered with moss and see wild giant tortoises.

Isabela: Here's your chance to see the picturesque Puerto Villamil. Here you can enjoy a stroll through the streets of this small town, visit the nearby saltwater lagoons, home to flamingos or simply stroll along the beautiful beach. See the center for breeding turtles in captivity, which is administered by the Galapagos National Park and the Charles Darwin Station. Explore the caves of the island, its shores and waters in search of dolphins, whales, sea turtles and the difficult ocean sunfish (mola - mola).

Fernandina: This island is the youngest of the Galapagos, here know the Punta Espinoza. This is the paradise of the marine iguana, with Isabela's volcanoes as a dramatic backdrop.

Floreana: Champion Islet, just at the edge of the east coast of the island is a great place for snorkeling and home to a large colony of sea lions. There is nothing more delightful than spending an hour in the crystal clear waters with these creatures!. On Floreana, you may find flamingos, ducks and various shorebirds. Hiking to a beautiful white sand beach, a favorite site for nesting sea turtles.

Española: Visit two different parts of the same island. Note the blue-footed boobies, sea lions in abundance, marine iguanas which develop particularly vivid coloration, and the albatross (mid-April to mid-December) exclusive to this island. Make snorkeling and stroll the beaches of the island.
