Day 1

Quito - Ecuador

Arrival in Quito at a luxury hotel. Day of rest. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2

This is a day of leisure. A variety of tours are available on that day. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3

San Cristobal Island / Embark / Initiation of cruise

We flew to Galapagos to begin the cruise, arrived at San Cristobal Island, east of the Galapagos Islands. Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is the capital of the province of Galapagos and has the second largest concentration of human population in the archipelago, around 6,000 people. Board the boat and you can choose your cabin. In the afternoon, visit Cerro Brujo on San Cristobal.

Day 4

Española Island / Floreana Island

Explore Punta Suarez, one of the most spectacular sites on the islands and the only place in the islands where you can find the waved albatross (in-season visit). Here look for sea lions, marine iguanas, and inside on the surface, masked boobies and blue-footed. We will follow a path through the rocks and reach a hole, a crack in the lava rocks where the water is pushed with great force in a stream of 15-25 meters depending on the intensity of the waves.

In the afternoon, explore Gardner Bay, on the Spanish island, where you can practice snorkeling, walking and relaxing on the beach, one of the most beautiful in all the Galapagos. We may also visit the spectacular rock Gardner panga, which is home to shark (tipped Reef Shark), cactus finch and other colorful inhabitants.

Day 5

Santa Cruz Island / Rabida Island

In the morning we will visit Santa Cruz Island, the second largest in the archipelago. Know Charles Darwin Station for more information on research activities on the island. This World Heritage Site (UNESCO), is a breeding center of the famous Galapagos giant tortoise. Here, the turtles of different subspecies are prepared for reintroduction to their natural habitat. Then we can make a stroll through Puerto Ayora.

In the afternoon, visit Rabida Island, a small island covered by dry and coastal vegetation with a volcano. This island contains the largest variety of lava and a saltwater lagoon where you will observe occasionally Flamingos. Sea lions, fur seals, penguins, pelicans, Galapagos hawks can be seen here. The island offers great snorkeling, we will also make a short walk to the top of the trail where you can take pictures of the fabulous crystal clear waters and volcanic peaks

Day 6

Disembark / Quito - End of cruise

After breakfast, disembark and transfer to airport for your flight back to the mainland. Enjoy a day of rest. Overnight in Quito.

Day 7

Quito / Home

In the morning we will be transferred to the airport for flight back home.
