ITINERARY

Day 1

Quito - Ecuador

Arrival in Quito, Ecuador. Celebrity Xpedition staff will be waiting with instructions for transfer to the luxurious JW Marriott Hotel.

Day 2

This morning, enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Then, aboard his private bus during the day visit the city of Quito. Explore the "old colonial", will make a stop at the Mirador del Panecillo from where we have a spectacular view of the city, the city also visit Mitad del Mundo, a chance to do some shopping and lunch in San Antonio Pichincha. In the afternoon, return to the hotel for dinner at one of three restaurants.

Day 3

Baltra Island / Embark / North Seymour Island

This day, we will take the flight from Quito to Baltra to get on board Celebrity Xpedition. In the afternoon, sail to North Seymour, a flat low-lying island where blue-footed boobies nest, sea lions play and the largest colony of Galapagos congregates frigates. At night, will see the welcome cocktail offered by the captain aboard.

.Day 4

San Cristobal Island / Española Island

Puerto Baquerizo, the main town of San Cristobal is the capital of the province of Galapagos.

Española Island is the southernmost island of the archipelago and because of its isolation, has a high proportion of endemic fauna. Gardner Bay offers a moment of leisure at the beach with extroverted mockingbirds.

Day 5

Floreana Island

Arrive at Punta Cormorant, on the north side of the island, here is a sandy green olivine crystals. A path takes you to a lake often inhabited by flamingos and birds of land, we will continue to an important nesting site for turtles. In the afternoon, visit the Mirador of the Baroness. During the 1930s, Floreana became a fashionable port for luxury yachts, and Baroness von Wagner Bosquet was one of the European settler on the island. The drama that took place during this remarkable period has never been fully explained.

Santa Cruz Island / Bartolome Island

In the morning, visit Bachas Beach in Santa Cruz, a beautiful and pristine white sandy beach with clear blue waters. This area is an important place for the start of the eggs of Pacific green turtles, pelicans and flamingos.

In Bartolome, with his lunar surface, you feel like you're in another world. Be sure to take a walk on the lava tunnels and volcanic cones, and enjoy the view of the famous Pinnacle Rock.

Isla Isabela / Isla Fernandina

En la costa oeste de Isabela, visitaremos la Bahía Elizabeth, hogar de una colonia de pingüinos de Galápagos que viven en una serie de pequeños islotes. Día 8

Santiago Island / Santa Cruz Island

Continue on to Puerto Egas, a coastal road in Santiago Island, and its rewards are many sea lions, Sally Lightfoot crabs and grottos made from black lava. In the afternoon, visit Cerro Dragon, also known as the Dragon Hill. This area is located on the north coast of Santa Cruz island, covered by mangroves, home to one of the few populations of land iguanas on the ground.

Day 9

Santa Cruz Island

In the morning, we will make a stop in Puerto Ayora to visit the Charles Darwin Research Center. We will take time to visit the Breeding Center of the giant tortoises and learn more about the conservation of the islands and the ongoing investigations. We may also take a while to get around the city and buy some souvenirs. This afternoon, explore the highlands of Puerto Ayora. We visit Los Gemelos, a pair of large holes and craters know the longest lava tunnels found in Galapagos.

Day 10

Baltra Island / Disembark / Quito

Disembark on Baltra and board the plane that will take us back to Quito. Arrival in Quito and transfer to your hotel. At 4 pm we will gather for a shopping tour at the artisan market. In the afternoon we will have a farewell dinner.

Day 11

Quito / Home

In the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet in the hotel, then transfer them to the airport for flight back home.
