Zaruma Ecuador, El Sexmo Mine

El Sexmo Mine is located 15 minutes from the city of Zaruma, known for its colonial architecture and for having been founded by Alonso de Market. The mine's Sexmo is currently one of the main attractions of the city, as in ancient times took out a gold nugget weighing three pounds that was sent as a curiosity and a gift to the King of Spain.

Information of El Sexmo Mine

El Sexmo Mine is known for being the first Zaruma-Portovelo district, currently it is not there already operates around the construction of a resort, where its main attraction is a visit inside the mine.
