Darwin Island, Galapagos Ecuador

One of the smaller islands of the Galapagos Archipelago, named in honor of Charles Darwin. It has an area of 1.1 km ² and a maximum height of 168 meters. Here live fur seals, frigates, marine iguanas, swallow-tailed gulls, sea lions, whales, sea turtles, dolphins, red footed and masked. It is considered one of the best diving sites worldwide.

Information of Darwin Island

Darwin hangs vertically from the ocean, is an uninhabited island and has no visitor sites, so that the main appeal lies in the depths of the Pacific, as it has a spectacular marine life.

Darwin's Arch rise in the ocean near the Galapagos Archipelago Isla Darwin. Featuring almost everything that a diver would like to note: large schools of hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, Silky shark, mackerel, spotted rays, green turtles, a hawk beak turtles and dolphins. From June to November, you can see whale sharks and tiger sharks occasionally.
