Eloy Alfaro Museum, Quito

Located in the Eloy Alfaro College facilities, staff rooms are preserved nature and pre-Columbian archaeological past of Ecuador. The interior keeps the costumes and ammunition that were used in the wars of independence, the country's military portraits, the remains of fallen soldiers and some personal items of General Eloy Alfaro.

Information of Eloy Alfaro Museum

The museum also preserves the remains of some combatants of the Battle of Pichincha, and war with Peru in 1941. The first bones are unsung heroes, but also including those of Lt.. Hugo Ortiz, Luis Cabo Minacho, Myr. Galo Molina, Cap. Augusto Rivadeneira, among others. Some interesting features of the museum are the awards, ponchos, kepi and a fragment of skull of Old Fighter.

Eloy Alfaro The Museum is divided into three rooms:

Temple of Heroes: This is the main point of visit to this cultural exhibition which chronicles the Civics, the gallantry and Symbols of Ecuador. Built in 1940, on display in the 204 rifles, 131 ammunition old, 42 machine guns, plus: guns, torpedoes, guns, mortars, rockets, uniforms, flags, decorations, medals, and books and documents section original protagonists.

Anthropological Museum and Nature: Divide your room for the everyday life of ancient Ecuador, and the rich flora and fauna of the country today. The first section holds a rich store of archaeological pieces of all pre-Columbian cultures.

Geodetic Park: One of the site that pays tribute to the astrological principles of aboriginal societies, and the visits of the French missions.
