Sacha Lodge Tour

ITINERARY

Day 1

Departure from Quito, we conducted a 45-minute flight to Coca. Upon arrival, transfer to the river port where we board a motorized canoe for a two-hour trip on the Napo River and a walk of 30 minutes to arrive at Sacha Lodge, where we enjoy a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon we made a trip to the rainforest, Tedros the possibility of swimming in the lagoon Pilchicocha. Observe several species of tropical birds. Visit the butterfly farm with countless species of colorful and moving. Also enjoy a beautiful sunset, before they head back to the lodge, where we expect a delicious dinner.

Day 2

After a nutritious breakfast, early in the morning we start our tour with a walk along the path Liana Girl, get to the area of the canopy tour, where we have a spectacular view of the upper area of the forest and observe many species of colorful birds . Then on to shore and the area where the native guides igapó will explain about medicinal plants that contain the area and have been used by communities throughout the years. We will continue to to the path of Higuerón, which takes us along the primary forest where giant trees stand out as the kapok Kapok and have several hundred feet. Visit the farm where we enjoy a delicious lunch to recover forces so exhausting day of travel, accompanied by several species of birds and insects of wonderful ways. From the Farm, will travel by canoe trail Napo River to take us back to the lodge.

Day 3

Breakfast. Early morning departure to Lagartococha this path will help us understand the relationship between the forest and its inhabitants. Offering the opportunity to learn more about native people, their traditions and what is nature for them. Then we will walk around the edges of the lagoon, watching monkeys, squirrels and birds playing among the trees and water. In the afternoon we return to the lodge to take a little break.

After lunch, a guide will give us a lesson in fishing and a canoe ride through the forest. We will continue our journey to the impressive tower 135 feet high, was carved from an old kapok tree. Watch the sunset behind the impressive volcano Sumaco on the horizon and a concert of insects, birds and frogs that arises in this ecosystem, at sunset. As night fell back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 4

After breakfast, hike on trails where we can observe the flora and fauna of the Amazon, returning to Coca to take the flight to Quito.

Clothes that are easy to dry material, long sleeved shirts of cotton, cotton socks, shorts, raincoat, hat, sunscreen, swimsuit, sunglasses, camera, binoculars and good hiking shoes.
