The Hacienda Rosa Herminia, located an hour and a half from the city of Guayaquil, in the Canton Colimes; is committed to developing tourism in the area, the recovery of nature and the preservation of local traditions and culture including the tasks of cacao, livestock and other activities, all highlighting the popular practices and the environment montubio.
ITINERARY
Early in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel in Guayaquil, to address the Colimes Canton, where we expect a traditional raft that takes us to the Hacienda Rosa Herminia. Upon arrival enjoy a delicious snack montubio welcome.
Then continue with our journey through the cocoa plantations, where we receive a presentation on the World of Chocolate. Here observe the tasks of harvesting, extraction, fermentation and drying of chocolate, considered the best in the world for its incomparable taste and floral aroma. Also meet the traditional process of milking.
Visit the museum, where we will observe parts and bones of cultures Milagro Quevedo and Tejar Duale, with more than 1000. You can also find a small Museum of Cocoa, a corner full of information, historical notes, photographs, types of cocoa, chocolate varieties, farming tools and products made from cocoa.
After enjoying a delicious Creole lunch visit the facilities of the Hacienda Rosa Herminia.
In the afternoon we return to the city of Guayaquil.
