Guayaquil is the largest and most populated city of Ecuador, known as the Pearl of the Pacific and the marina with the largest movement in Ecuador. The city allows leisurely walk by the river, past the old market town, the municipal palace, the gardens of the boardwalk, parks and museums, or you can climb the steps of Cerro Santa Ana, where you can get a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
ITINERARY
At 9:30 am we pick you up from your hotel to begin our journey through the main streets and avenues of the city. Our first stop is the Plaza of the administration to see what is in the Municipal Palace, the Monument Sucre and finally the Seminario Park, commonly called Iguana Park. Then visit the Malecon 2000 where we will have another walk in the street of the famous Market Integration appreciating South or Crystal Palace and then connect with the Plaza Olmedo very important for the Monument to José Joaquín de Olmedo illustrious poet of this city and former president of the Republic.
Continue to the Moorish Tower, where we see the monuments that have emerged in the history of Guayaquil, La Rotonda where are Simón Bolívar and San Martín. We continue our journey into the area of the Malecon Garden to see the different plants such as teak, guava, mango, ferns, bromeliads, ficus, almandra, etc.
Visit the Colonial district of Las Peñas, where you can admire the wooden architecture and where many of its houses are art galleries, will appreciate a panoramic view of Guayaquil and Guayas River from the strong Santa Ana.
To end our trip we will go to a popular restaurant in the city center to enjoy a lunch, then return to the hotel.
