Spondylus Route Tour

Spondylus Route runs through the marine paradise of Ecuador, from cloud forests to the northwest of Quito to Guayaquil on the coast of Esmeraldas, Manabi and Guayas, this journey through the tropical coast of Ecuador is full of adventure activities, beaches, cliffs, bays , national parks and nature. It is without doubt one of the most important tourist scenarios in the country.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Departure from Quito, at 06:00 am, will take the route Alóag - Santo Domingo to the city of Manta. During the tour will pass through different towns and cities. Observardo beautiful landscapes and vegetation change in the region saw our entry to the coast, light lunch en route, and visit the town of Montecristi, famous for the manufacture of straw hats. Then we head to the hotel to settle down and rest. Dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, continue to the Playa de los Frailes, considered the best beach in natural state of Ecuador, by the clear waters of its white sands, landscapes and rock formations. Lunch at Puerto Lopez.

In the afternoon visit to Agua Blanca Archaeological City or Machalilla National Park, where we can appreciate the well-preserved archaeological ruins of the Manta culture. These ruins were a solar calendar to celebrate the rituals of summer and winter solstices. Also enjoy a swim in the lagoon sulphurous medicinal mud.

Return to the hotel. Dinner.

Day 3

Departure in the morning towards Olon, a small fishing village, where we will visit the magnificent shrine built in boat-shaped stone from the top of a large cliff rises imposing as if navigating the sky. Also enjoy a refreshing swim in the sandy beach.

On the way we stop at a picturesque fishing village of the area to delight in a delicious lunch.

Afternoon return to Quito.
