Baltra Island, also known as South Seymour is located 27 km north of Isla Santa Cruz. The main airport of the Galapagos Islands is located here and was originally built by the Air Force of the United States in 1941. On leaving the airport should take a bus to take him Itabaca channel (approximately 5 minutes), then a ferry (barge) that will take them through the channel connecting the two islands.
Then perform a one hour trip by bus to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island and its villages of Santa Rosa and Bellavista.
