Galapagos Cruises, Samba

ITINERARY

Day 1

Quito - Ecuador

Arrival in Quito and transfer to a luxury hotel. Day of rest. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2

This is a day of leisure. A variety of tours are available on that day. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3

Baltra Island / Embark / Plaza Island

Departure in the morning to take the flight to Baltra. On our arrival we transferred to the dock to board a Samba. Our first excursion on the island leads Plaza. You spend the next few hours on the ground observing colonies of sea lions, land iguanas, swallow-tailed gulls and red-billed tropical.

.Day 4

Santa Cruz Island

This morning we went to Puerto Ayora to visit the Charles Darwin Research Center. We will take a while to get around the city and buy some souvenirs. In the afternoon, explore the highlands of Puerto Ayora. Observe how the landscape changes as the wind rolled the seven vegetation zones found in Galapagos. From June to January you can find giant tortoises on a private estate. We visit Los Gemelos, two craters covered with greenery that is home to finches, flycatchers and red witch. You can also visit "The Tunnels", formed by the solidification of the surface of a lava flow.

.Day 5

Española Island

After breakfast, disembark at Gardner Bay on the Spanish island, with excellent opportunities for snorkeling and panga ride. Continue heading to Punta Suarez, where you can see blue-footed boobies, masked boobies, marine iguanas, tropical red beak and swallow-tailed gulls.

.Day 6

Floreana Island

Morning visit Floreana, Punta Cormorant arrive at, to visit a lake where you can see pink flamingos. Then we will relax in a beautiful white sand beach where sea turtles nest. We will continue our journey to reach the Devil's Crown, ideal for snorkelling. Afternoon visit the famous Post Office Bay Post Office. Out of Isabela Island in search of whales and dolphins on the road.

Día 7

Isabela Island

In the morning we head to Punta Moreno, Isabela Island, where we hike through lava fields. Observe frigate birds, pelicans and flamingos occasionally Galapagos and divers pinto peak. In the afternoon, we will explore in Elizabeth Bay panga.

Day 8

Isabela Island / Fernandina Island

After breakfast we went to Bay Urvina land of marine and land iguanas. This can also be found cormorants, pelicans, penguins, blue-footed boobies. Afternoon visit to Punta Espinoza on Fernandina Island, where you can see the largest concentration of marine iguanas in the archipelago, as well as flightless cormorants and sea lions.

Day 9

Santiago Island / Bartolome Island

Visit Puerto Egas on Santiago Island, where we enjoy a coastal walk, observing a variety of marine life and seal colonies of Galapagos. In the afternoon continue to the Isla Bartolomé, for a panoramic view of Pinnacle Rock. Then you can go swimming and diving.

Day 10

Baltra Island / Disembark / Quito

After breakfast, disembark on Baltra Island and we will go to the airport for the flight back to Quito. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11

Quito / Home

In the morning we will be transferred to the airport for flight back home.
